ARTS, Christmas ornaments. 6th Grade

We had a lot of work making the Christmas balls ornaments for the Poinsetias and green trees.

ARTS, Christmas "Festival"

In the Art class fifth grade children prepared the Festival decorations, this year was about "The little Prince" so, we made a lot of planets , stars and finally a big Prince for the stage.

ARTS, Keith Haring, 2nd Grade.

Body language.

We met Keith Haring , a contemporary artist from the United States of America.

He liked Graffiti and Pop Art , he created iconic cartoon-like figures in public spaces all over 
the world. He incorporated many social and political themes into his work,
He was born in  1958, in Reading, Pennsylvania. He moved to New York City in 1978 and began using the city as his canvas, making chalk drawings in subway stations. His art was eventually seen everywhere from public murals and nightclubs to galleries and museums around the world. He died  in 1990, at age 31.

We had the great opportunity to meet MUMO,  the mobile Museum from France. We could get into the big lorry and watch different contemporary artworks.
In the Arts class we learned about the artists and their  works and   we painted the ones who liked the most.
