Alberto Giacometti Project. 6th grade

This week in class 6 we are learning  about Alberto Giacometti, a sculptor from Switzerland.
His sculptures were tall and very very thin. We have recreated his style by doing our own version of thin and tall people.
With aluminum foil strips we wrap around a stick so we model a figure.
After some difficulties they came out GREAT.

Jackson Pollock Project. 4th grade.

The classroom was messy and a bit dirty but it was worthwhile. We paint ACTION, like the American artist JACKSON POLLOCK did.
We really enjoyed creating our abstract paintings.... First we mixed some sand with the paint and then we were..........dripping, splashing and swirling colours.

A Polish teacher in Països Catalans.

Last week, the  teacher Anna Parr-Modrzejewska from the University of Lodz in Poland visited us doing a Research Project about learning English in different European countries.
She was in  6th year classroom and also with the little ones .
During the break, some students took her for a school guided tour.
She was very nice and the kids were also very pleased.
